Saint Jude Nature Trail
Walking the St. Jude nature trail is a quaint, intimate affair. Located on the south end of Pine Island, the trail is approximately half a mile long (both ways), lovingly maintained by park services and local residents.
Mangroves and local flora enclose the trail, at times creating a light canopy. A sitting area is available at the halfway point, with the end turning into a boardwalk overlooking St. James Creek.
This trail is only accessible from a dead-end side street, and is not advertised from the main road. A truly hidden gem.
